CEL is seeking its next Executive Director to lead our exciting and dynamic organization. In its 23 years, CEL has grown to support hundreds of schools and districts across the country to strengthen their school leadership. The next executive director will expand upon this vision by charting out the next 5-10 years of CEL’s journey, building collective momentum, and harnessing the resources to achieve its goals. Specifically, the executive director will grow CEL’s impact by expanding the organization’s current work to make its offerings accessible to more partners, strengthening its long-term financial sustainability, attracting and retaining top talent, and broadening support for CEL's work in the research and philanthropic community.
We are seeking a visionary executive with a deep understanding of the professional learning needs of K-12 leaders, a proven network, the ability to collaborate with a team to innovate offerings, and the strategy to help CEL adapt to the changing K-12 marketplace. Most of all, we want someone who is excited to dig into the work, get to know our diverse and talented team, and support us to achieve our ambitious goals. This position reports to the Associate Dean for Research of the College of Education.
Salary: $215,004 - $245,004
