SCORE’s Vice President (VP) of Finance and Operations will play a critical role in advancing SCORE’s work as the organization grows and in implementing its strategic plan. This is an executive leadership role that stewards SCORE’s $16 million-plus annual operating budget, supports its staff of 30-plus team members, and manages a wide-ranging portfolio of projects and initiatives. This position will lead the organization’s finance and accounting function, including financial planning, financial reporting, treasury management, the financial aspects of an $8 million annual subgrant portfolio, and supporting the finance and audit committees of the Board of Directors. The person in this role will also lead the organization’s talent, human resources, legal, and business operations functions, ensuring that SCORE attracts, develops, and retains top talent and that the office environment is conducive to the SCORE team doing its best work. Reporting to SCORE President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and serving as a member of the organization’s Leadership Team, the VP of Finance and Operations will play a critical role in designing and executing strategic initiatives and serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEO, the Board, and the rest of the Leadership Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who seeks to have a big impact on SCORE’s mission across a large portfolio of work while working with a dynamic student focused team. The ideal starting timeline for this role is early July, with some flexibility if/as needed.
